Assignment of a single house in Los Molinos (Madrid), 2013
The design of the house was restricted by urbanistic and constructive normatives of the
town of Los Molinos. The maximum height had to be 6m from the ground, roof slope
couldn’t be more than 15%, voids on facade limited to 40% and the material must be used local one. Overcoming these requirements, the house’s rooms are basically built around a courtyard. Due to the landgeometry and roughness, the house only has a ground floor and its half basement. The rooftop is composed by 17 triangle roof parts to evacuate rainfall water to the perimeter.
